Curved Light Gray Stamped Concrete Patio

A large backyard stamped-concrete patio shaped with a curved outer edge, a sidewalk-style pattern, and layered light-gray and charcoal color.

Finished 20 by 22 foot light gray stamped concrete patio with a curved edge

The project

A generous patio with a softer edge.

At 20 by 22 feet, this patio provides approximately 440 square feet for seating, dining, and everyday backyard use. The broad footprint follows the rear of the home, then opens toward the lawn with a curved outer edge instead of ending in a rigid rectangle.

The light-gray base color and charcoal release bring out the texture and joints in the sidewalk-style stamp. Together, the rectangular pattern and varied stone surface give the patio definition while the curved perimeter keeps the overall layout relaxed.

Finished work

Layout, pattern, and texture from every angle.

Full view of the curved stamped concrete patio beside a Vermont home — The completed 440-square-foot patio creates a generous outdoor gathering area.

Curved outer edge on a light gray stamped concrete patio — A broad curved edge softens the patio footprint and opens it toward the yard.

Stamped concrete patio fitted along the rear of a dark-sided home — The layout follows the house and existing outdoor features before widening into the yard.

Sidewalk-style rectangular stamp pattern across the finished concrete patio — The sidewalk-style stamp breaks the large surface into natural-looking rectangular courses.

Stamped concrete detail where the patio meets a backyard doorway — Careful alignment at the house keeps the door transition clean and useful.

Close view of light gray stamped concrete with charcoal release color — Charcoal release settles into the texture and joints to give the light-gray surface depth.

Close-up of the stone texture in a sidewalk-style concrete stamp — The varied stone texture keeps the repeated pattern from feeling uniform.

Homeowner review

“Zack and his team did a phenomenal job with a pretty large concrete patio in our back yard. Not only was the work intricately crafted, but Zack’s communication and customer service was top notch. I will be recommending him to anyone looking for masonry work and hope to use him again.”
